Spring Flowers

This book box is a new beginning for me. On the internet I saw an interesting way to make your own book box, and I just had to try that out for my self.

My book box is 7,5 x 8 x 3,5 cm

Here I cut the 4 sides for the box from corrugated cardboard, and tape them together with masking tape so they make a frame

To make the box I cut a piece of paper from Tim Holtz Menagerie

The paper is fitted into the frame and forms the box

The paper is glued in place with Quick Glue from Panduro

Here are the parts for the book cover

The parts are taped together with maskin tape - leaving about 2 mm between the parts for movement
For the outside and the inside is cut a suiting piece of paper from Menagerie and they are glued in place.

The box is put and glued into the cover. The front is showed on the right picture

The book box is distressed with Distress Inks, and the inside is decorated with Tim Holtz Wallflower and for the rose is used Tattered Pinecone die

Final Front

The Back

and one more

For the final decoration is used:
Tim Holtz Spring Greenery die - Hashtags - Simple Saying stamps
Glimmer Mist Marshmellow
Distress Ink Picked Raspberry - Fired Brick - Gathered Twigs - Black Soot
Versa Fine Onyx Black
Lace - wire - string
